Business Relocations
My business relocation service minimizes the downtime associated
with moving and gets you up and running at your new location
as quickly as possible.
Business relocations include all or some of the following based on your
needs and budget:
Pre-move
- Devise moving strategy and schedule.
- Act as a liaison to the property management companies at the current and new locations (e.g., reserving elevator time, ensuring the new location is ready for the move, etc.).
- Coordinate with moving company on move schedule.
- Obtain packing boxes from the moving company.
- Provide recommendations for improving efficiency and employee retention in the new space.
- Submit mail forwarding request.
- Current Location
- Purge, pack, and label all general office files, supplies, and materials.
- Purge, pack, and label each employee desk space with employee present.
- Unplug and pack all electronic equipment including computers, printers, and fax machines.
- Collect and turn in any parking passes, security cards, and keys to property management.
New Location
- Unpack and organize all general office files, supplies, and materials.
- Unpack individual employee office spaces.
- Unpack and set up all electronic equipment including computers, printers, and fax machines.
- Dispose of empty packing boxes.
Post-move
- Send change of address notification to clients.
- Ensure that new letterhead and envelopes are printed.
- Ensure that new phone system is set up.
Cost: I will prepare a bid based on your needs and the size of your company. Prices range from $2000 to $5000 for an office up to 10 employees. Assessments available for larger offices.
Home Relocations
My home relocation service helps take the stress out of moving. With my
help your move will go smoothly and you’ll be enjoying your
new home immediately rather than living out of boxes for weeks.
Home relocations include all or some of the following based on your needs and budget:
Current Home
- Help you purge unnecessary items before packing. Moving is a great time to simplify!
- Pack and label items in every room of the house.
- Coordinate with the moving company.
New Home
- Unpacking boxes.
- Washing and putting away items (applies primarily to kitchen items).
- Providing guidance on how to best organize items.
- Recommending the optimal Feng Shui placement of furniture and decorations.
Cost: $50/hour (does not include packing supplies)
Spousal Separation Relocations
During this difficult time, I create a comfortable and fully equipped
space for the spouse who is moving out without disturbing the family home.
As timing is often crucial, I can set-up a new home in just a few days.
Spousal separation relocations include all or some of the following:
- Shopping for basic items including housewares, linens, and basic condiments for the new location.
- Washing and putting away all new items.
- Setting up phone and cable services.
- Arranging furnishings and decorations using Feng Shui.
Cost: $65/hour
